Supported Employment Initiatives

An evaluation project
in the framework of the LEONARDO-programme
of the European Commission

Supported Employment (SE) enables the integration of people with disabilities into the labour market and thus assists them to obtain and retain employment. By focussing on peoples´ abilities rather than disabilities, SE promotes the integration of people with disabilities in society. One of the specific aspects of SE is that its impact depends on functioning partnerships between people with disabilities, the supporting staff, such as job facilitators, employers, public authorities and the community.
